Silver Woven Puff Heart Necklace I do not own a hydraulic press so this puff heart was achieved using acrylic as the form. It’s a fun process and could be done with any material that you can cut or carve a shape into. The silver was put through a rolling mill first to impress the lovely texture. It was then formed and cut. Sterling wire was then shaped around the heart and they were woven together with more Sterling wire. Collar Tip Earrings These were my Dad’s collar tips and I love them! I wanted to be able to wear them so it made perfect sense to make them into earrings. These turquoise cabs were set with sawdust beneath them, which is how it used to be done as a matter of course. I removed the stone, used a different material to raise the stone and re-set it. I also tightened up the rest, although they weren’t rattling like that one stone was. Anyway, I’m proud to wear them. Our Dad was a silversmith, too, along with so many other artistic talents! Sure do miss him! ❤️

Fine Silver Starfish on Sterling Rolo Chain I love the beach and anything remotely related to it! This is a handmade starfish that I made from metal clay, so it is 99.9% pure silver. The starfish is 2.5mm thick and 5/8″ tall, not including the bail, which is 9mm tall. The beautiful chain is a tiny rolo and it’s doubled. I love this chain in beach pieces because it looks like the little bubbles that wash up on the shore. The Sterling chain is 17″ long and has a Sterling lobster clasp. By Lisa.
