Rhodolite Garnets with 24k Gold in Sterling Silver Brooch

This piece came together in an effort to use some odd shapes that I had left over from other designs. I have made pieces before that were feminine clothing so it was a natural to do another vest! I seem to like making those best! Two mirror sterling pieces connected with textured sterling wire that has 24k Gold bonded using the primitive Asian technique of keum boo. Two rhodolite garnets accent each side. The pin is held in place with swirls at the vest top. This was made in a class I taught and we all had so much fun creating our pieces! By Lisa.
