Copper with Matte Finish Cosmic Eye Drawing Earrings
Let these unique and colorful earrings express your cosmic, omniscient eye! The drawings in this pair are truly cosmic, showing the all-wise eye surrounded by the sun, moon and stars. I have planned for years to incorporate eyes into jewelry, so am glad to have executed that idea.
Drawings are made with the luscious colors of prismacolor pencils and protected under a clear matte acrylic finish. They are framed by my rustic copper bezel settings and topped by arched wire bails. While the copper was polished before soldering, afterward the bezels were left with the natural and beautiful color effects that heat imparts to this metal, creating a lovely and exciting color arrangement. The earrings measure 1.75″ from antiqued copper earwires top-to-bottom, and 2″ at width, and each one weighs about 4.9g or 0.17oz. Sans earwires, conceived and handmade by Shauna Sopel.
