Copper Bezel Resin Sun Necklace Sun and nature worshippers express yourself with this delightful pendant made from copper, PolyShrink, resin and inclusions. Drawing is an original, encased in resin with a few sprinkles of glitter to add a bit of lively sparkle, and held by two bezels, the outer of which holds larger glittery inclusions that add more life and movement to the piece, complementing the drawing. The action continues with the scalloped bezel. Red Bird (Cardinal) Copper 30″ Pendant Necklace The cardinal is one of my favorite birds for the male’s solid bright red coloring, and I tried to represent that in this little drawing made with Prismacolor pencils. The bird is set inside a handmade copper bezel that’s soldered onto a notched background. The setting’s bail is also made from copper and attached to the setting with a cold connection that is accented with a flattened argentium silver nugget and a hammered section of sterling silver wire that surrounds the bezel. Blue Polymer Texture with Face and Copper Bezel Necklace Pendant A polymer clay textured background with face insert is the focal point of this natural colored copper bezel-set pendant. Acrylic paint in complementary blue with a touch of pink provides the finish for the polymer clay. Enameled Copper Chrysoprase Sterling Silver Earrings I’m hooked on transparent enamels right now – they are so pretty when the colors all come together just right! The domed copper discs are 3/4″ in diameter and the soft, transparent enamel colors are just beautiful with the copper showing through. The back I left to nature, only cleaning some of the black off. I like the organic look of heated copper! I sawed out the organic Sterling silver piece that dangles from the copper – they remind me of a steer head, so the texture I applied followed along with that idea.
